University Student Housing APPLICATION FOR EXEMPTION FROM TEXAS TECH UNIVERSITY HOUSING REQUIREMENT Updated 05/14/2014 All appropriate documentation must be provided prior to review. Non-exempt students have the right to Appeal. Compliance with the university housing policy is a condition of enrollment, as set forth in the Student Handbook, the Undergraduate Catalog, and OP 30.25 (http://www.depts.ttu.edu/opmanual/). Failure to secure either an exemption or on-campus housing will result in a hold preventing both the release of university transcripts and registration for classes. Because of unforeseen changes in a student’s circumstances due to illness, other personal reasons, or late acceptance to the university, some petitions are considered after the above dates. Authorization for off-campus housing does not relieve the student of contractual obligations which may have been assumed with University Student Housing. Please refer to the Residence Hall Contract (http://housing.ttu.edu/contract-guide.php) for specific information on deadlines and penalties.
