To completely fulfill this requirement, two 3-hour lecture courses must be completed
along with the related 1-hour laboratory for each course. Transfer students who
present 3-hour core science classes must complete the TTU laboratory requirement as
described in the catalog on page 57.

Students may select HIST 2300, 2301, or 2310 to fulfill this requirement.
One course must be taken at a Texas college or university. If both courses are taken
outside of the state of Texas, the student must also complete POLS 2107.
NOTES
- Minimum hours requirements: 120 hours are required overall. 40 hours must be JR/SR level. 30 hours must be taken in residence.
- CLEP credit cannot be used to meet residency requirements.
- Refer to the minor requirements to determine appropriate courses for areas of study.
- If all areas of study are A&S, up to 24 hours of coursework taken outside the college may apply.
- If one area is outside A&S, up to 30 hours of coursework taken outside the college may apply.
- No block credit may apply.
