Installation instructions- Allegro MX - Adobe Reader Pocket PC
(Note Steps 1-10 are on the Laptop/PC Steps 11-20 are on the PDR)
Step 1. A: Get Admin Privileges, if you don’t already have them.
B: Place your PDR in the Cradle and make your you have an Active Sync connection.
Step 2. Navigate to the following folder on the T: Drive
T:\FS\RD\RMRS\Science\IM\Collaboration\projects\InfoManagement\MidasProject\OTHER_MIDAS_ST
UFF_DO_NOT_DELETE\PDF Reader
Step 3. Copy the file AdbeRdr20_ppc_enu.exe to your laptop/pc
Step 4. Double Click on the file AdbeRdr20_ppc_enu.exe
Step 5. When the InstallShield Wizard opens click on the “Next” Button. See Below
Step 6. Agree to the License Agreement, Click the “Yes” Button. See Below
Step 7. Accept the default folder location by clicking on the “Next” Button. See Below
Step 8. You will notice that the program is installing on your PDR and Dialog box will open
telling you to check your mobile device. Click on the “OK” Button and let the installation
continue on the PDR.
Step 9. When the InstallShield Wizard is Complete Click on the “Finish” Button. See Below
Step 10. Close the Text File that opens by Clicking on the “X”. See Below
Step 11. ON THE PDR-After the program has finished installing click on the “OK” button. See
Below
Step 12. Click on the “Start Menu” or use the Windows Button on the Key Pad. See Below
Step 13. Arrow down and press enter or click on the “Settings” option. See Below
Step 14. Arrow over or Click on “Menus” icon. See Below
Step 15. Arrow down and press enter or Click on the box next to Adobe Reader 2.0, Then click
the “OK” box in the upper right corner. See Below
Step 16. Close the Settings Menu by clicking on the “X” in the upper right corner. See Below
Step 17. Click on the “Start” menu. See Below
Step 18. Arrow down and press enter or Click on the “Adobe Reader 2.0” Shortcut. See Below
Step 19. Scroll down and Click on the “Accept” Button the agree to the Licensing Agreement.

Step 20. The following box will appear with a list of any PDF files that are saved on your PDR or
Storage Card. Highlight and Click or press enter on the desired file.
