TTU-UIL Summer Camp Scholarship Guidelines:

Must be a high school student (entering Freshman through entering Senior)

Must complete scholarship application requirements:
o Summer Camp Application Form
o Student Scholarship Application Form
o Family Background Information Form
o One Page Student Essay
o Parent Recommendation Letter
o UIL Coach Recommendation Letter

Copy of Parent’s 2015 Tax Return or W-2 Forms; must qualify for financial assistance
based on Federal TRIO Programs Current-Year Low-Income Levels from the U.S.

Applicants will be notified the week of June 15, 2016.
Scholarship recipients are selected by an independent scholarship committee.

Submit only the required recommendation letters; one parent letter and one UIL Coach’s letter of
recommendation. Any other letters will be removed before applications are submitted to the
scholarship committee.

 It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure a complete application is submitted on time and is
received by Texas Tech UIL. Applicants will not be contacted to inform them that portions are
