STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN
Dear Rec Sports Alumni,
I hope this letter finds you well! I am contacting you to let you know about our newest student initiative, a
fundraising campaign to grow the student employee scholarship fund! Rec Sports has committed to providing
three students with a $1000 scholarship over the last five years, and we would like your help to expand this
program. For the $150 gift, Recreational Sports will have your name placed on a brick for the Student Scholarship fund. The brick area is located right in front of North ID, and can be seen in the picture below.
As the scholarship fund grows thanks to your generous donation, more student scholarships will be given to
students at our Annual Student Appreciation Dinner every May. Our goal is to give out five scholarships by the
May 2017 dinner. You can help us reach that goal by gifting a brick today! Recreational Sports will add your
brick to our scholarship circle for $150; and the gift is tax deductible. Please use the order form and return
envelope enclosed. Or if you want to give us a call at 806-742-3351, we would be happy to set up your donation over the phone.
If it has been six months or a couple of decades since you last worked for Rec Sports, please know that you are
part of our family and we appreciate all of the hard work you put in to make Rec Sports what it is today! Thank
you for helping Rec Sports invest in our students!

PS - We are in the beginning stages of planning a Rec Sports Staff Reunion tentatively set for spring 2017.
