TODD PHILLIPS – HUMAN RESOURCES ePM Reminder The 2016 Staff Performance Evaluation process is underway. The evaluated period is inclusive of the time from March 1, 2015 through February 29, 2016. Supervisors are allowed through April 15 to complete the performance evaluations and meet with their employees to go over the report. Evaluations will be due to Human Resources no later than April 15, 2016. Use of the electronic Performance Management (ePM) system is now required for all staff performance evaluations. Exceptions are made only where the supervisor is not a TTU employee. If you or your staff need instruction on using the ePM system, please contact Human Resources Talent Management at 742-3650. My staff is able to assist with this process through individualized or group training sessions. Lengths of Service Awards April 14th from 3:00 pm- 5:00pm in the Red Raider Ballroom. Great Colleges to Work For Texas tech will be participating in the Great Colleges to Work For survey again this year. 600 FullTime Faculty and Staff will be randomly chose to participate in the survey. If you are chosen you will receive an email from Modern Think on March 21st. SumTotal Upgrade SumTotal is moving to a new user interface that should go live on March 21st. Announcements will be sent out on a final date of implementation. 2 KARA NEWCOMB – PAYROLL & TAX SERVICES Fringes Projection http://www.depts.ttu.edu/afism/FRING_Project/Default.aspx The Fringes Projection application can be used to estimate department fringes for annual salary and one time payments. This application reflects salary and estimated fringes that will post to a labor FOP. It does not represent an individual’s net check amount. Federal Income Tax withholding calculations and optional insurance deductions are not included in the application. Select whether projecting for current employee or new hire. Indicate annual salary or one-time payment. Complete requested fields. The example below is for a new hire. 3 The amount reflects the estimated monthly charges to the labor FOP. The example below will estimate fringes on a one-time payment. Two options are available for one-time payments. The first option will calculate on the gross amount paid to the employee. 4 The second option will include the department fringe charges in the gross amount and provide an amount to submit on the EOPS. 5 BRENT BURROWS- PROPERTY MANAGER Annual Property Certifications Annual Property Certifications are due at the end of June.
