I served as the treasurer of the organization and controlled the financials to
provide awareness events and collaborative activities. I organized and created
multiple presentations in PowerPoint and Prezi. I conducted and helped plan
In-services and training workshops. I led icebreakers and large group
activities, and also contributed in the annual knowledge competitions.

I coordinated with the officers of the organization and helped establish and
prepare for each major event that promoted the global interactions of the

Research Assistant at the TTU Nutritional Sciences Department

During Spring 2015, I worked as an undergraduate research assistant in the lab
of Dr. Naima Moustaid-Moussa. Working in the lab includes skills of cell
culture and detection assays. Through this job, I was also given the
opportunity to participate in the TTU Undergraduate Research Conference of
2015.
Accomplishments:
• Awarded the 4th regional prize in physics by the National Commission for
the Syrian Science Olympiad in Damascus, Syria.
• Earned President’s List at TTU in Fall 2013, Spring 2014, Fall 2014, and
Spring 2015.
• Graduated High School in the Top 10%
• Earned Honors Roll of the 2012-2013 school year in Red Oak High
School.
• Earned National Top 10% in the Syrian Secondary School Standardized
Exam in the year 2009-2010.
