Description:

US Tungsten Corp proposes 6 to 9 core holes with a track-mounted drill rig to determine if a minable deposit of tungsten remains at the site. Holes would range from about 250 to 500 feet deep and drill pads would be placed for minimal disturbance.

Description: Proposal to convert 2 communication sites, identified in the Beaverhead-Deerlodge Forest Plan as "proposed" to permanent administrative sites. Equipment is in place and the conversion is an administrative exercise.


Location: UNIT - Wise River Ranger District. STATE - Montana. COUNTY - Beaverhead, Deer Lodge, Silver Bow.

LEGAL - Deer Camp T4S, R14W, NENW Sec 16; Dickie Peak T2N, R11W, SWNW Sec 28. Deer Camp site is in the West Pioneer Inventoried Roadless Area (WSA Management Area) in the Pioneer Landscape. Dickie Peak site is in the South Fleecer Management Area in the Big Hole Landscape.
