Multicultural Faculty and Staff Association Endowed Scholarship - $500
Eligibility: undergraduate student, Texas resident, first generation college student, financial need, completed
minimum 12 semester credit hours at Texas Tech, minimum 2.0 GPA
Bidal Aguero Endowed Scholarship - $500
Eligibility: undergraduate or graduate student, graduate of a high school within a 50-mile radius of Lubbock,
U.S. citizen, minimum 2.0 GPA, enrolled full-time at Texas Tech, financial need considered but not required;
prefer students with Business-related major
Institutional Diversity Success Scholarship - $500
Eligibility: sophomore, junior, or senior; enrolled for a minimum of 12 semester credit hours at Texas Tech;
minimum 2.7 GPA; (online classes do not satisfy requirement)
(Classification requirement must be met at the time of application )
By March 28, 2016 -- please submit:
 scholarship application
 two letters of recommendation from college faculty or staff, or community leaders familiar with your
academic work, campus involvement, interests, or community service participation
 typed essay (500 word max.) explaining your interest and involvement in matters related to diversity,
community engagement, leadership, and/or academic achievements
