Bachelor of Computer Engineering Degree Map At­a­Glance Minimum hours required for the degree: 126. This does not include credits earned in the Engineering Cooperative Education Program and Orientation. Admission to major: Admission to the Fenn College of Engineering. Hours required for minor: There is no authorized minor in the Computer Engineering Program. Evening Program: There is no evening program in Computer Engineering. Accelerated 5­Year Bachelor/Master Program: An accelerated program that enables students to earn a Bachelor of Electrical or Computer Engineering degree as well as a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering in 5 years. Advising: All students are advised by the faculty members in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Student organizations: Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers; Eta Kappa Nu ­ Honor Society for Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering. Additional information: Students in the Computer Engineering Program choose areas of interest from technical electives in the senior year. The Computer Engineering Program is a program in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. The Computer Engineering Program emphasizes the use of computers in engineering systems and interfacing of computers to physical systems; it is intended for those preparing to enter industry as well as those who wish to pursue graduate degrees in computer engineering, electrical engineering, software engineering, or computer science. The program includes a spectrum of courses and considerable laboratory experience. In addition, depth in computer engineering is provided by technical electives. This program is supported by the Department of Computer and Information Science.
