Mission Statement: Your agency is responsible for submitting a Mission Assignment Monthly Progress Report to FEMA to include cost data when
Mission Assignments take more than 60 days to complete, including billing. The Mission Assignment Monthly Progress Report can be accessed and
submitted on-line at http://www.fema.gov/government/business.shtm The new ALC number can also be accessed at the web address.
Specific needs include type III wildland engines, type I and II structure engines with wildland interface capabilities. All resources must meet NWCG
Standards, which include certification, training and personal protective equipment. Current resource needs are: 50 Strike Teams of Type II engines, 75
Strike Teams of Type I & II engines, 300 misc overhead to include operational and support personnel, ie., ROSS trained dispatchers, aircraft
management personnel, IR mapping and GIS specialists. If you have coordination questions, please contact CA OES Fire and Rescue Assistant Chief
