IWPR offers nine-month fellowships to assist in the professional development of students
and graduates interested in economic and social justice for women. Underrepresented
minorities are encouraged to apply. Disciplines of interest are: Physical Sciences, Social
Sciences, School of Public Affairs, and Fields related to Women's Policy Studies. Eligible

 Graduate Student Scholarship: $4,000 scholarships to full-time graduate students
in communication sciences and disorders programs demonstrating outstanding
academic achievement.
 Graduate Scholarship for Minority Student: A $4,000 scholarship is awarded to a
racial/ethnic minority student who is a U.S. citizen and is accepted for graduate
study in speech-language pathology or audiology. Other scholarships available
through the International/Minority Student Graduate Scholarship program.
 Graduate Scholarship for Student with Disability: Full-time graduate students
with a disability who are enrolled in a communication sciences and disorders program
and demonstrating outstanding academic achievement are eligible to compete for a
$2,000 scholarship.
 Student Research Grant in Audiology: Graduate and postgraduate students in
communication sciences and disorders may apply for a $2,000 research grant in
audiology. Only one applicant will be selected each year.
Student Research Grant in Early Childhood Language Development: Graduate
and postgraduate students may apply for a $2,000 research grant in the area of

Program for Graduate Students:
Mellon/ACLS Dissertation Completion Fellowships: This program provides stipends of
$25,000, plus funds for research costs of up to $3,000 and for university fees of up to
$5,000, to assist graduate students in the humanities and related social sciences in the last
year of Ph.D. dissertation writing. Eligible applicants must be Ph.D. candidates in a
humanities or social science department in the U.S. (applicants from other departments
may be eligible if their project is in the humanities or related social sciences, and their
principal dissertation supervisor holds an appointment in a humanities field or related social
science field), have all requirements for the Ph.D. except the dissertation completed before
beginning fellowship tenure, and be no more than six years in the degree program.

The Pedro Zamora Public Policy Fellowship is open to young professionals, undergraduate
and graduate students who seek experience in HIV-related public policy and government
