Coastal ConnecFons Vancouver (CCV) will bring together professionals working on aquaFc systems within universiFes, NGOs, government, and industry to network, share knowledge, and create synergies for future projects. By connecFng like-‐ minded individuals and organizaFons, CCV will enhance the ability of parFcipants to achieve research and conservaFon goals.
CCV will host quarterly evening events in downtown Vancouver. At the event, several small
‘sound bytes’ of recent research and conservaFon acFon from each sector will be highlighted through mulF-‐media. Informal ice-‐breaker acFviFes will encourage aVendees to build connecFons with parFcipants from other organizaFons.
CCV is seeking support to iniJate two events in 2012. Assistance is required to fund facility reservaJon, refreshments, and adverJsing.
