(A)
Resignation and retirement.
Resignation.
A faculty member has an obligation to give notice of intent to
resign no less than three months before termination of the faculty
member’s service at the end of any academic term.
(B)
Retirement.
(1)
A retired faculty member may qualify for the award of
emeritus or emerita status (see paragraph (N) of rule 334411-02 and rule 3344-12-09 of the Administrative Code.)
(2)
A retired faculty may, with the approval of the dean, be
offered post-retirement classroom instruction employment
on a part-time, semester-to-semester basis. The rate of
compensation shall be determined in negotiations between
the dean and the faculty member, subject to the approval of
the provost.
