Quarterly Sensitive Data Handling Training Promoting the appropriate use of sensitive data entrusted to the University To ensure that Western Illinois University is doing its best to reduce the chance of data loss, identity theft and to help the university meet obligations imposed by laws regarding personal information, the university developed a campaign to educate faculty and staff regarding the proper use of sensitive data. The university needs privacy advocates at every level — and the best way to achieve this is through awareness. This training provides an introduction to privacy issues and practical guidance for implementing safeguards that minimize the potential for data loss.
