A Comprehensive Guide to the
Human Reproductive System
An Honors Thesis (HONRS 499)
by
Stacey Sudhoff
Thesis Advisor: Dr. John Wilkins
Ball State University
Muncie, Indiana
May 2009
Graduation: December 2009
Abstract
This booklet was created as a study and reference manual outlining all pertinent
anatomical models owned by Ball State University related to the male and female
reproductive systems. Appropriate labels have been clearly marked on all anatomical
divisions and structures to ease the study process of students enrolled in Anatomy 201.
This manual can be used by study room attendants to help students study and verify
accurate information. The labeled model diagrams are accompanied y at textbook image
from Saladin's Human Anatomy as well as a corresponding Revealed® 2.0 image to tie all
three visuals together cohesively. This product will serve as a concrete manual to aid all
enrolled students upon their journey to learning all structures related to the male and
female reproductive systems.
Acknowledgements
I express sincere appreciation to Dr. John Wilkins for his guidance and insight
throughout the completions of this project. I would also like to thank him for inspiring
my interest in this topic and advising me throughout this process.
I would also like to thank Dr. John Emert for his valuable suggestions and
comments.
Thanks also goes to Tim Boswell for his technological assistance and patience.
