From our blog The use of SharePoint is continuing to grow, so at our next Information Management Liaison Group (IMLG) we want to ask: 'How can SharePoint work for you?' UK still in top spot for open data Open data, The National Archives, and re-use of information. We may seem a bit of an odd combination at first: The National Archives which collects, manages and protects information and records,... We will hear from a range of KIM speakers who have introduced SharePoint in their organisation. The IMLG will be held on Thursday 26 March at our site in Kew. Contact our events team to book your place. Two heads better than one We have two new recruits to our Information Management teams, Stephen Hall and James Clark. James has joined as Head of Records Transfer and Accessions. James has previously worked in a variety of Departments including FCO, Home Office and BIS, as well as some arm’s length bodies. He is responsible for the timely transfer of records to The National Archives. Stephen takes on the position of Manager of Records and Information Management Services, managing the team of Information Management Consultants. He has previously served in HM Forces, before joining the Civil Service in 2000. He has worked in a number of Departments including HM Prison Service, Defra and the Food Standards Agency. Both are looking forward to meeting you in the coming weeks. The Information Game Alan Turing. A name you might be familiar with.
