WIU Teacher Education Program Procedures Regarding a Student Concern or Complaint Concerning a TEP Policy/Procedure 1. Candidates may submit a concern form when they have a complaint or concern with a policy/procedure in the Teacher Education Program/ 2. Candidates complete a Student Concern Form that is located at http://www.wiu.edu/CPEP/PDF/Student_concern.pdf 3. Candidates submit the form to the Director of Advising, College of Education and Human Services. 4. If the Director of Advising is not the appropriate individual to address the complaint, the Director will consult with the Assistant Dean of the College of Education and Human Services to determine the appropriate individual to handle the concern or complaint. 5. Either the Director of Advising or the Assistant Dean will contact the appropriate administrator to ask that they address the complaint. 6. After one week, the Director of Advising consults the appropriate administrator concerning the status and outcome of the complaint. 7. The candidate is notified of the outcome of the complaint if this has not already occurred as the complaint is addressed.
