Course  Description
Advanced  Keyboard  Skills  IV  is  a  class  designed  for  the  pianist  at  the   concentration  or  performance  level.  Advanced  Keyboard  Skills  IV  focuses  on

2   instrumental  accompanying/collaborative  skills.  Students  will  learn  unique   characteristics  of  strings,  woodwinds,  and  brass  instruments,  and  acquire  skills  to   collaborate  with  them.  Students  will  work  with  particular  repertoire  with  the   instructor  and  with  instrumentalists,  and  perform  in  either  recital  class  or  juries.
Instructional  videos  are  available  on  Sakai.  Repertoire  and  collaborator  will  be   announced  at  the  beginning  of  the  semester.  It  is  crucial  to  contact  your   collaborative  performer  and  rehearse  regularly.

Changes  in  Course  Requirements
Not  all  classes  progress  at  the  same  rate,  thus  course  requirements  might  have  to   be  modified  as  circumstances  dictate.  You  will  be  given  written  notice  if  the   course  requirements  need  to  be  changed.
