MISSION
INSTRUCTIONS:

The Academic Computing Center provides support for academic uses of educational technology, including: a
student computer lab providing industry standard and instructor-specified software applications, Web access and
printing; classroom presentation technology with computers, podiums, projectors and screens; technology
workshops for students, faculty and staff; faculty development of eLearning courses via the Blackboard & Epsilen
environments; campus-wide ePortfolio use; technical consulting with equipment specification, purchasing
assistance, installation, repair, and related help-desk services; communication services including architecting and
maintaining the college Web site; design and programming Web-based applications; design and display of campus
digital signage and the creation and maintenance of the campus video archive via TigerMedia, and YouTube.
