Notes
•
In Year 2 (full-time) or Years 3 and 4 (part-time), students undertake three supervised clinical placements and complete a
research thesis on a topic relevant to the discipline of educational and developmental psychology.
•
On commencing the course and prior to commencing their placement, students must obtain provisional registration with
the Psychology Board of Australia. This registration must be maintained for the duration of the course.
•
Placement activities are undertaken in Year 1 (full-time) or Years 1 and 2 (part-time) in conjunction with coursework units.
Students commence a log of placement activities from Year 1 and accumulated hours are resulted when enrolled in
EDF6507 in second semester of Year 1 (full-time) or Year 2 (part-time).
•
Some days and hours may be transferred between the three clinical placement units with the permission of the placement
coordinator.
