University of South Alabama College of Nursing Online RN-BSN/MSN Pathway For Admission to Phase One, for the Undergraduate Professional Component of the RN-BSN/MSN Pathway. Students must first apply for Undergraduate Admission to the University of South Alabama. You should then submit the required Nursing Application for the RN-BSN/MSN Pathway. Prerequisite courses must be completed at an accredited institution prior to beginning the Professional Component at USA. The BSN may be completed in three semesters, however students may progress through Phase One at their desired pace. The Professional Component MUST be completed in FIVE years.
