Physical comedian Reid Belstock and innovative juggling ace Warren Hammond have teamed up to bring you their hilarious and incredible show for all ages, Smirk! Garnering comparisons to Abbot
and Costello, maniacal goofball Reid and straight edge Warren, are
a matched pair of performers with a deep bag of tricks whose juggling and slapstick antics explode off the stage. Their work has
earned them multiple awards, including the 2009, and more recently the 2011 IJA Silver Medal in the Team competitions.

Opera-On-Wheels
Friday, February 12, 2016 — College of Fine Arts and Communication Recital Hall
Western Illinois University OPERA-ON-WHEELS was established
to provide local schools and communities with the opportunity
to experience opera. Touring versions of one-act operas travel to
schools within a 100-mile radius of WIU, performed by graduate
and undergraduate WIU School of Music students. School performances are aimed at students K-12. Repertoire is chosen for its
music integrity, educational, and entertainment value. OPERAON-WHEELS mission is to bring to our school quality classical
music which is both accessible and financially feasible.
Swingin’ in the Rain
Hainline Theatre - Friday, February 19, 2016
Award winning Swingin' in the Ring tells the endearing tale of
Dancing Danny, who is caught between a rock and a hard place.
Indebted to a street tough, Danny reluctantly becomes a boxer to
pay him back. While training, he meets a dancer named Bella who
teaches him a few tricks of her own.
This smash hit physical comedy features the glamour of classical
movie musicals, 1930s music, Fred-and-Ginger style dancing and
boxing to tell a romantic rags-to-riches story about beating the
odds.
Doktor Kaboom!
Thursday, March 31, 2016 - The Grand Ballroom
LOOK OUT!! SCIENCE IS COMING!
An interactive one-man science variety show suitable
for school and family audiences. Doktor Kaboom! creatively blends theatre arts with the wonders of scientific
exploration. Doktor Kaboom’s supercharged (and super
safe!) science experiments will have you erupting with
laughter and bubbling with curiosity.

Pipeline

The hugely popular "Pipeline," which originally toured
tri-state schools in Spring 2006 and 2009, used amazing
music, juggling, magic and excitement to build on the
themes of friendship, cooperation and teamwork. Woven
into Pipeline is also the thrill of finding wonder and
beauty in the world around us. And lots of banging on
PVC pipes in very creative ways!
