Meeting of November 17, 2010, in M-317 at 1:00 PM.
Members Present : Janice Molloy (Chair), Liza Larios (President’s Designee), Bryn Mader,
Linda Meltzer, Tian Ren, Haishen Yao (Steering Committee Designee),
Danny Mangra ( Secretary)
Member Absent : Compton Boohoo (Student Representative)
Quorum Present: yes
1) The minutes were approved from September 29, 2010 with corrections.
2) The Bylaws Committee approved the Resolution to Change the Name of the Committee
on Distance Education to the Committee on eLearning. To add, a fifth whereas to the
name change resolution as follows:
WHEREAS, The term eLearning comprises all forms of electronically supported teaching
and learning, and is increasingly used to describe blended
(partly synchronous) and asynchronous education/ instruction/ learning.
The meeting adjourned at 1:30 PM.
