Dr. Williams will discuss how real estate agents create, communicate, and deliver value through targeted segmentation for buyers and sellers. May 13 1pm-4pm Special Parts of the Commercial Contract & Lease Tom Oldweiler, Esq. (3 hrs.) Tom Oldweiler will cover needed parts of a typical commercial sales contract and lease; minimize any subsequent legal issues after closing; represent clients interest as an agent; correct relay info on the contract components. June 2 1pm-4pm Communication Skills of Sales Leaders Professor Paul Pietri (3 hrs.) Dr. Pietri will show sales agents how to increase their verbal and non-verbal messages to improve communication with colleagues and clients. September 9:30-12:30pm Coastal Economic Outlook VIII Professor Donald Epley (3 hrs.) Dr. Epley will moderate the eighth discussion of the Coastal economy with national, regional, and local speakers. Duane Graham will review recent developments in real estate – related litigation impacting market participants like developers, brokers, agents and bankers. November 12 1pm-4pm Real Estate Data & Internet Information Professor Reid Cummings (3 hrs.) Dr. Cummings will examine selected local and national websites and illustrate how data and information found on each should be used in real estate market analysis and an individual transaction.
