Minimum of 32 semester hours, 19 of which are upper division, in a content area appropriate to the academic
major. Composite areas (English language arts, general science, mathematics and social studies) require at least
one course in each main area of the broad teaching field, as required in traditional Class B programs.
All transcript(s) from regionally accredited institution(s) documenting academic major. Engineering majors
handled in same way as Alt A programs.

Keep a copy of this program checklist and maintain it. You must complete all program requirements for
graduation and teacher certification. Course substitutions are not permitted. Also, note course prerequisites
and follow them. You will be withdrawn from a course if you do not meet the stated prerequisites.
