YouTube policy Content The National Archives account is managed by the Marketing and Communications department on behalf of colleagues across the organisation. If you become a subscriber to our channel, you can expect some or all of the following: Archival video footage Educational and informative videocasts about the records we hold Videocasts highlighting unusual, interesting and newly discovered treasures from our collection Comments and sharing We encourage our subscribers to comment, rate and share our video content. All videos can be linked to, reposted and embedded into pages. We do ask that, as Crown copyright material, it is reproduced accurately and not used in a misleading context. Any comments made are the authors opinion alone and do not represent those of The National Archives. Comments will not be edited or censored, however, any posts and threads that may cause offence, are about a named individual or use offensive language will be removed. We reserve the right to block any users who are seen to persistently post offensive comments. Video responses, messages and friend requests We do not allow or encourage video responses and we will not respond to friend requests or direct messages.
