INCOME MAINTENANCE ADMINISTRATOR I

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Responsible for overseeing the general administration of the
Income Maintenance programs and Program Integrity required of the agency. Assists the agency
Director with budgeting, personnel, and purchasing necessary supplies and equipment. Duties
include monitoring programs to ensure required guidelines are followed and processing
requirements are met; recruiting, selecting, and orienting new employees and training new
supervisors; planning work flow, case management, and schedule for accomplishing work to be
done; organizing equal distribution of caseloads; evaluating supervisors, and consulting with
supervisors on the disciplinary process as needed. Performs related duties as required.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS: Ability plan, organize, evaluate & direct operations. Thorough
understanding of Income Maintenance Programs and Program Integrity required.
MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Two years of supervisory experience at
least one of which must have been in an income maintenance or services program, and preferably
with one year of experience in an income maintenance program; or an equivalent combination of
training and experience.
