Institutional Research The Office of Institutional Research and Assessment supports academic, sponsored programs, student affairs, and other administrative functions of Queensborough Community College by providing information for decision making and planning. Using institutional documents, such as the Mission Statement and Strategic Plan, the Institutional Research Office initiates research and evaluation studies for assessing institutional effectiveness, programs evaluation, and student learning outcomes. The Institutional Research and Assessment Office also routinely gathers, analyzes, and reports information required by the City University of New York, federal, state, and accrediting agencies. The Institutional Research staff regularly collaborates with administrators, faculty, and staff about research design, instrument development, data analysis, and other related research topics.
