Institutional Research
The Office of Institutional Research and Assessment supports academic, sponsored
programs, student affairs, and other administrative functions of Queensborough
Community College by providing information for decision making and planning. Using
institutional documents, such as the Mission Statement and Strategic Plan, the Institutional
Research Office initiates research and evaluation studies for assessing institutional
effectiveness, programs evaluation, and student learning outcomes.
The Institutional Research and Assessment Office also routinely gathers, analyzes, and
reports information required by the City University of New York, federal, state, and
accrediting agencies. The Institutional Research staff regularly collaborates with
administrators, faculty, and staff about research design, instrument development, data
analysis, and other related research topics.
