Registrar
The Office of the Registrar supports the instructional and student progress endeavors of
Queensborough Community College by providing quality services to students, faculty,
academic and administrative departments, and the public.
The Office of the Registrar addresses issues affecting both students and faculty. Registrar
staff work to understand their customers’ requirements and current and anticipated
administrative needs. Staff demonstrate professionalism and integrity and strive for
continuous improvement of services.
Services include course record management, classroom assignment, final exam
scheduling, academic record creation and maintenance, student registration, grade
processing, transcript issuance, coordination and management of summer, winter and
special programs, (such as Learning Academies.) The Registrar is also responsible for
student certification, creation and maintenance of the Academic Advisement system(Tiger
Tracks), TAP audit system (FACTS), monitoring and compliance with academic and
administrative policies, student and course information system operation, retention and
graduation outreach/certification and the dissemination of accurate, timely, and complete
information.
