Examples include being able to: • determine the number of significant figures in a measured quantity and know how to express a measured or calculated quantity using the correct number of significant figures (Pg. 19, Prob. 1-36) • know the difference between accuracy and precision (Pg. 23). • convert between units using dimensional analysis (Pg. 23, Prob. 1-40). • perform calculations involving density (Pg. 14, Prob. 1.22)
