Academic Year 2015-2016
The GENERAL SCIENCE INTERDISCIPLINARY MAJOR (9 courses/ 27 Credits) is available as a second major to
students in the Lynch School of Education who are pursuing Elementary Education, and Applied Psychology and Human
Development. This major fulfills the Arts and Sciences program requirements for students pursuing teacher certification
except Secondary Education majors.
The major is designed for students seeking a broad and general background
In general science to help them teach in an elementary or special education setting.
