Remuneration:$9500stipendand5coursesperyearintheLynchSchoolofEducation BackgroundonVPSAoffice: TheOfficeoftheVicePresidentforStudentAffairs(VPSA)overseesthefourteendepartments withintheDivisionofStudentAffairsandsupportsallaspectsofthestudentlearningexperience atBostonCollege.IncollaborationwithpartnersacrosstheUniversity,theDivisionprovidesco‐ curricularprogramsandservicesthatpromotestudentlearning,healthandwellness,leadership development,women’sinitiatives,andcommunityengagement.Thedivision’sstaffworkwith faculty,administrators,andalumnitocreateasafeandwelcomingcommunity,andtosupport thepersonal,professional,social,andspiritualgrowthoftheUniversity’sundergraduateand graduatestudents.. ThefunctionsoftheVPSAofficeincludeHumanResources,BudgetandFinance,Strategic Planning,ProjectManagement,Assessment,StaffDevelopment,andCommunications. CoordinatespecialprojectsasassignedbytheDirectorofSpecialProjects,AssociateVice President,andVicePresidentforStudentAffairs. Assistintheoverallplanningandimplementationofadivision‐wideassessmentprogram, includingpreparationfortheUniversityNEASCaccreditationprocess. Supportdivision‐widestrategicplanninginitiatives. PlanandcoordinateVPSAgraduateassistantprofessionaldevelopmentevents CollaboratewiththeVPSACommunicationsSpecialistandotherdivisionalstaffto supportdivision‐widesocialmediaandwebinitiatives. Performresearchonemergingissueswithinstudentaffairs. Othertasksasrequired. Qualifications PreferencewillbegiventoBostonCollegegraduatestudentsenrolledintheHigherEducation AdministrationprogramintheLynchSchoolofEducation,particularlythoseenrolledinamulti‐ yearprogram.AllapplicantsmustbeenrolledinagraduateprogramatBostonCollege.
