No person may have more than 3 athletic supplements. Deans may receive only one of the above supplements. Any Coach whose behavior results in a suspension from
coaching in games will receive a reduction in supplement pro-rated for the period of suspension.
The designation of a position and supplement above does not necessitate that it be used or filled.
International Baccalaureate and AICE coordinators will receive a $2,000 supplement (code (SPHIB)

School Recognition payments/bonuses are according to statutory guidelines and requirements
Notes :
o All schools beginning 2008-09, will be restricted to the following allocations:
 One supplement for each chair of the following 11 departments at the high school level: Career/Technical/Vocational Education, Exceptional Student
Education, Electives, Foreign Languages, Guidance, Language Arts, Math, Phys Ed/Health, Reading, Science, and Social Studies.
 One supplement for each chair of the following 8 departments for grades 6-8: Exceptional Student Education, Math, Language Arts, Reading, Science,
Social Studies, Guidance, and Electives departments.
 One Team Leader supplement for every 125 students in grades 6-12.
 One supplement for each grade level chairperson, and one supplement for the school resource chair, for grades K-5.
o (B) One supplement per school. See Article XVIII-6 for additional explanation
o (C) Two supplements per school
o (D) See Supplement Handbook for per-sport allocation for Athletic supplements
o (E) Starting in 2010-11 school year, the base salary has been reduced from $32,000 to $24,000, as agreed to in the Letter of Understanding dated June 17,2009 (as
continued).
*Supplements are included in the employee’s contract and will be pro-rated over all the pay periods.

The designation of a position and supplement does not necessitate that it be used or filled. The use of non-paid volunteers is encouraged under all circumstances, and they
will be required if a paid position is not designated above.
Athletic Game Supplements will not be paid from district funds, but will instead be paid by schools, utilizing internally generated funds (collected for this purpose),
consistent with Board policy (Letter of Understanding Concerning Academic and Athletic Supplements, June 23, 2011).
