This position includes responsibility for overall supervision of personnel records, coordination of procedures for employee payment with other organizational units and supervision of day-to-day office procedures for personnel services. QUALIFICATIONS 1. 2. High school diploma or equivalent. A minimum of five (5) years of responsible clerical experience, three (3) of which should have been in an organized personnel program or an equivalent combination of training and experience. 3. Knowledge of clerical details; office practices, procedures and methods; and the various phases of personnel work. 4. Skilled in the application of modern clerical and administrative techniques and practices as they apply to personnel administration. 5. Skills in computer operation. 6. Ability to perform the essential functions of the position. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: *1. To perform non-instructional personnel processing functions. *2. To coordinate procedures for payment of non-instructional employees with payroll department and data processing unit according to adopted salary schedules. *3. To coordinate processing procedures for annual reappointment of all employees and prepare contracts accordingly. *4. To prepare personnel recommendations for official board minutes. *5. To screen appointments of non-instructional applicants seeking employment or reemployment regarding required credentials. *6. To prepare records and data for microfilming. *7. To maintain files of statistical information for research. *8. To prepare personnel-related reports as requested. *9. To monitor all daily inputs and reports from the manpower control system. To coordinate problem solving between manpower control and other organizational units. *12. To interface daily with the instructional personnel records specialist/clerks on matters relating to manpower control. 13. To perform assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner. 14.
