Receive passwords for the TASC sites: ORSS, OAS, & Prism Using the Secure Material Transmittal Form, log out the secure test materials needed for test and move to a storage cart or container in testing room (NEVER leave secure materials unattended) Account for all secure materials; record each returned test on Secure Test Material Distribution Log Update profile in ORSS Adult education teacher notifies examiner that student needs PBT (does not apply to OIEP) Student completes selfregistration but DOES NOT schedule test; for OIEP, a staff member will register and schedule students online (refer to hard copy of registration form completed by student) Examiner schedules student in ORSS (be sure to check the PBT box) Prepare answer documents for each examinee: Complete the "For Official Use Only" section of answer document with Examinee's name, Form Letter, and UUID Check students' photo IDs & collect WV TASC Forms (if did not receive prior to day of test) Seat students according to seating chart Give students their assigned test answer documents and provide directions on how to complete top section Students complete Sections 1-5 of the answer document Give students materials needed for subtest Read the test instructions from TASC Examiner Manual Post the times for each subtest where students can see them Students begin testing Gather non-secure test materials needed for test (i.e., erasers, pencils, colored scratch paper, calculators, etc.) Prepare Secure Test Material Distribution Log Log in to ORSS/WV TASC Site; enter barcodes from students' answer documents Check students in on ORSS/WV TASC Site Constantly monitor student testing Prepare documentation folder Set up accommodations (if applicable) Create seating chart Print Test Roster Give students a 10-minute warning before end of test Quickly check test booklets for missing or ripped pages Check to make sure answer sheets are complete; erase any stray marks Sign answer document after checking Provide student with DiplomaSender information Dismiss examinees only AFTER the preceding steps have been completed AFTER TESTING Prepare answer documents for return to DRC/CTB: * Alphabetize by last name * Complete the Group Information Sheet (GIS) * Place completed GIS on top of answer documents * Bundle GIS & answer documents * Place in secure storage area (until ready to ship); * If shipping immediately, place materials in box provided by CTB * Print shipping label from FedEx (this will notify FedEx that package needs picked up) * Affix shipping label to box * Place box in designated pick-up area Put all testing documentation into folder (labeled with date of test) * Copy of invoice and test roster being submitted to RESA * WV TASC Forms with photo IDs * Seating chart * Distribution Log * Accommodations documentation In between subtests, collect scratch paper, etc. & allow a short break (1530 min.) File documentation folder in a secure cabinet After student finishes testing, collect ALL test materials Clear memory on all calculators and shred scratch paper For more detailed information for paper-based testing, refer to TASC Training Modules 1, 3 & 4.
