GA1035 – Major Source Table
Required table. Codes defined by SBCTC-ITD.
Use the Major Source Table to identify major source codes and corresponding titles as well as subsource
indicators, due to and due from indicators, and budget levels. The major source code is an additional
classification within each major group used to identify revenue sources.
For a complete list of major source codes, run the DataExpress procedure GA1035R (from Group Inform,
Account PLIB).

Definition
Key field. A code defined by SBCTC-ITD that identifies a type of revenue (for
example, federal grants, miscellaneous revenues, or operating revenues).
Edits
Must be valid on the Major Group Table (GA1034).
Major Source (SV-MAJSRC)
Definition
Key field. A code defined by SBCTC-ITD that is a further definition of a major group
such as revenues from fines, capital gains or sale of property.

Definition
A title defined by colleges describing a major source.

Entry required. The level to which a source of revenue will be budgeted. Cannot be
