More generally it has been used as a tool for teaching the effects of good and bad decisions. Building on this great tradition we have developed a version for teaching about the activities necessary to complete a project, including predecessor and successor activities and those things that may lead to faster or slower completion. How to determine when a player takes their turn: 1. Each player choses an avatar to represent themselves on the game board and places it on the first square in the lower left hand corner. 2. Each player rolls the dice once and the highest scoring roll will make the first move. If there is a tie, those players re-roll until a single highest scoring player is identified. 3. After each player completes their turn the dice is passed to the player’s right and the next player takes their turn. How to play the game: 1. The player rolls the dice and then advances their avatar the specified number of spaces. a. If the move ends at the base of a ladder, the player’s avatar moves up the ladder. b. If the move ends at a snakes head, the player’s avatar moves down to the snakes tail. c. If the six is rolled, after moving the same player rolls again. 2. The play continues until an avatar lands on the last space signifying a completed project. a. If a player rolls the dice such that their avatar would move beyond the last space on the board, they do not move. How to win the game: After each table has a player who has completed a project, the player who correctly answers a challenging question posed by the moderator wins.
