AGREEMENT
INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS
I do hereby declare that I have no direct or indirect financial interest in any
textbook publisher or textbook agency. I further declare that I am not employed by or
have sought employment of any kind from a textbook publisher or agent.
During calendar year 2008 and for a period of twelve months after completion of
my duties as a textbook reviewer, I will not seek or accept employment from any
textbook publisher; become directly or indirectly financially interested in any of the
proposed contracts, in any book, or in any publishing concern handling or offering any
books or other publications to the West Virginia Department of Education for adoption,
so as to avoid a direct conflict of interest or the appearance of impropriety
For the same periods of time mentioned above, I will not communicate any
confidential or proprietary information acquired in my capacity as a textbook reviewer to
any textbook publisher or publishing concern.
