This clarification pertains to the scoring of Question 75 of the Spanish edition
only of the Regents Examination in Physical Setting/Earth Science.
In rating responses for this question written by students who used the Spanish
edition of this exam, either exclusively or in conjunction with the English edition,
allow credit if the response refers to the correct air masses using their two-letter
symbols as they appear in either the English or Spanish editions of the reference
tables.
Please make sure to darken the circle for “Spanish” in the box labeled “Alternate
Language” on the answer sheets for all students who used the Spanish edition,
either exclusively or in conjunction with the English edition.
