Present: Tim Strauss (Geography), Chuck Holcombe (History, Chair of the Senate),
Andy Gilpin (Psychology; Vice Chair of the Senate), Ga-Young Choi (Social Work),
William Henninger (SAHS), Richard Featherstone (Associate Dean), Tyler O’Brien
(SAC), and Captain Dan Nesdahl (Military Science)

Previous Minutes Approved with amendment of spelling changes
No nominations for Regents award
a. Possibility of extension
b. We should make sure we have a nomination if there is an extension
c. We will ask for an extension
d. We will need a CV and letter of nomination to the Dean’s office by Noon
e. Move to vote electronically on nominations if they are submitted by noon on
Nov. 19th to Holcombe.
Academic Master Plan Steering Committee
a. CSBS needs a representative
b. Carolyn Hildebrandt Nominated and elected
General Campus wide meeting on Dec. 1st
a. Dean has suggested we attend
b. Will need to move the meeting if CSBS Senate attends
i. Monday the 8th and Friday the 5th of December are potential dates
ii. Our new meeting date will Monday the 8th at 3:15
TIER Efficiency study
a. Still in waiting mode for academic portion
