Log into site using Office 365 credentials: https://wv.clarity.brightbytes.net
Update Profile

Click on the down arrow beside the avatar (top right corner)

Click your name

Click settings (far left side)

Edit user information and use drop down arrow to choose your role so you receive the “Weekly
Three” that aligns with your position

Click Save

Click on Clarity icon at top

Join any groups on the right side by clicking “Join”
Click on “Data” (at top) icon to access dashboard


Use Advanced Filter to zoom and filter by grade level, demographics, etc…

In the chart below the Risk Predictor, you will see a list of student names that can be filtered.
Click on a student name to view the individual students. Try the following:
1. Sort students by “Risk Level” (click on the words in the chart: At Risk Level).
2. View student profiles to know exactly how EVERY student is performing (Click on one student’s name).

ROLE PLAY CONVERSATIONS
As district leaders, you will be sharing this information with other district leaders, as well as, with principals. Within
your group, identify a person that would share this information and a receiver of the information. The Presenter will
have 7 minutes of uninterrupted time to provide the information, the receiver will then have 5 minutes to clarify, and
the listener(s) will end with 5 minutes on reflection/feedback.
o Roles: Presenter, Receiver, and Listener/Note-taker
o Presenter (District Voice)- Using page 3 of the graphic organizer, share the information that you found from
Early Warning and discuss your expectations of how to proceed with this information.
o Receiver (School)– Listen to the information as a principal and ask questions as it relates to the expectations
for your staff
o Listener/Note-taker(s)- Listen and provide constructive feedback to make adjustments for real
conversations back in the district
