Absolutely nothing to talk about where yesterday is concerned. Nothing. Nada.. Zip… Zilch. Unless, of
course, you want to hear about how incredibly miserable I was the Entire Freakin’ Day! Jeez!
Stupid, stupid back pain. It was impossible to get comfortable. Couldn’t sit, stand or walk without
feeling like a cork puller was working its way through my lower back.
So, got home, took a couple of The Sandstress’ (the one who puts the Sport in my Utility Vehicle) Motrin,
something I rarely feel compelled to do, and flopped on the sofa.
Spent most of the evening discussing Sandy’s desire to dump the car she is currently driving and return to
something like the vehicle she had prior to this one. That would be something in the Jimmy or Blazer
class. I certainly don’t have a problem with it.
She has a good job that she likes and, being of diminutive stature, her present sportscar-like vehicle
doesn’t make her as safe or confident on the road as something that has a higher profile.
So, you go girl.
With any kind of luck, it won’t fit in the garage and I’ll get my wish too -- a full-size, two-car garage!
Experienced the most intensely intense downpour last night. It didn’t just pour down rain, it POUNDED
DOWN rain. I had to ask The Sandstress, that lady who puts the River in my Dance, if there was an Irish
dance troupe rehearsing on the roof. So much rain fell in such a short time that the earthworms were
raising white flags and turtles were moving to higher ground.
Then the sun came out.
And, the most beautiful rainbow appeared for a few short minutes. Makes you want to believe in miracles.
Speaking of miracles, my back is much better today. Although, at the moment it feels like an acorn is
lodged behind my right kneecap. I’ll take that one any day…
Big things up ahead on Thursday. I won’t be at the moochine again until Friday and will bring you up to
date.. But, for now that’s all. The coffee is brewing, the e-mail has been attended to and I’ve got tons of
work in front of me..
