The search terms are based on a predefined portfolio. Terms for which NHS Choices did not receive any traffic are shown in red. * Visits to mental health related pages were up by 18% between September 2014 and September 2015. * In September 2015 visits to mental health pages accounted for 5% of all NHS Choices traffic. * Visits to the Moodzone (stress, anxiety and depression content) were most popular with the bundle seeing 7,997,591 visits between September 2014 and September 2015. Over the period the ‘Struggling with stress?’ page was the most visited, with more than 698,000 visits. * Mental health content in Live Well totalled 978,539 visits between September 2014 and September 2015. The most visited page in the Live Well metal health bundle in September 2015 was the ‘mental health hub’ page which saw 15,207 visits. * NHS Choices was the most visited website for mental health related search clicks, receiving 21% of all traffic. * The most popular mental health related search term in September 2015 was ‘anxiety’ with 12% of search clicks. NHS Choices received a 19% share of traffic for the term ‘anxiety’ making it the most visited website for the term. * There weren’t any search terms in the top 10 that NHS Choices did not receive search clicks for. The top mental health search terms that NHS Choices received no traffic from included: ‘mania’, ‘What is depression?’ and ‘reactive depression’. Search clicks for these terms were low though, with the most popular, ‘mania’ only having a 1% share compared to all mental health search terms in the portfolio. * Out of all of the top 10 search phrases, ‘panic attack’ was the term that NHS Choices received the highest search click percentage for, gaining 53% of search clicks for the term. NHS Choices also scored 36% of search clicks for ‘depression’ ranking it as the top website for the term, but interestingly NHS Choices only ranked 2nd for ‘depression symptoms’ behind WebMD.
