Questions With…
Gary Parks Sr.
1. Military Affiliation? Army Retired
2. Major? Natural Resources and
Environmental Management
3. Favorite Hobby? Being outdoors,
preferably on a motorcycle
4. Favorite military memory? I
have many favorite military memories but if I had to choose one it
would be the entire 3 1/2 years I
was stationed in Okinawa. During
that time, two children were born
there, there was tropical weather
year round, and I was able to go
scuba diving every week!
This past year,
Ball State’s Student Veteran Organization (SVO)
founded their very own
chapter of SALUTE Honor
Society. SALUTE is a National Honors Society exclusively for student veterans. Students who are
inducted into SALUTE are
full-time students attending Ball State who have
achieved a cumulative
GPA of 3.0 or higher. The
following students have
been inducted into Ball
State’s SALUTE for the
2011-2012 academic
year:


The “Basics”: Registering for Fall 2012 Classes
Fall 2012 course
registration has begun. To
register for Fall 2012, you
will need a time ticket. A
time ticket tells you the earliest day and time you are
eligible to register for
classes. You cannot register
for classes earlier than your
scheduled time. Once your
time to register is open, you
may add/drop courses until
published add/drop close
dates in August.
Registration time tickets are
based on your level of completed credit hours, including spring term enrollment.
Watch for a time ticket email
next week to learn when
registration for the upcoming
semester opens for you.
Please make sure that you
are able to receive email in
your Ball State account so
you will receive this important message. We strongly
encourage you to meet with
your advisor to review your
Fall 2012 semester plans.

system, you can visit
