2015 Scholarship
Information & Application
Packet
The Ohio State Center for Real Estate awards a number of scholarships totaling approximately
$35,000. The amount of each scholarship award varies each year based on the total money available
and the number of qualified applicants. Typically there are ten to fifteen scholarships with awards
ranging from $1000 to $4,000.
Scholarship eligibility
All currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students, full and part-time, are eligible to apply using
this application packet. While some scholarships have certain beneficiary restrictions, the Center and its
partners will match the most qualified applicants to the scholarships for which they are eligible.
Scholarship application process
All interested students should fill out the application below and email it along with their resume to
Jana Hrdinova at Hrdinova.1@fisher.osu.edu. The application deadline for the 2015-2016 academic
year is Monday, September 21, 2015.
Award selection process
The scholarship award process consists of two steps: a preliminary selection of applicants based on
essay responses, GPA, and demonstrated interest in a career in real estate; and an interview with the
scholarship committee made up of representatives from the Center and from members of the Ohio
Association of Realtors. Interviews will take place on Friday, October 16, 2015.
All scholarship awards will be announced by the end of fall semester and awards will be applied to
spring semester tuition. If tuition is already paid the student will receive a refund from the bursar’s
office.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Jana Hrdinova at Hrdinova.1@fisher.osu.edu.
