Mother’s Day Corsage
Growing Watermelons
Tiny watermelon plants are planted in beds.
Honeybees pollinate the yellow watermelon blossom. A vine starts to spread
and in 2 months, the vine shows its first watermelons. The crop is ready to
harvest within 3 months.
Materials
• Watermelon Blooms reproducible
• crayons or markers
• safety scissors
• school photo
• transparent tape
Instructions
1. Color the Watermelon Blooms picture.
2. Cut the Watermelon Blooms picture out.
3. Cut head out of school photo.
4. Tape photo to the center of the flower marked
"TAPE PHOTO HERE".
Your mom can stick a straight or safety pin through the corsage to wear.
