Administrative History
The Alumni Association was founded when the first class of the Indiana State Normal School, Eastern
Division graduated in 1919. This group functioned until 1926 when a more formal organization, with R.
Nelson Snider, class of 1922, as its president, was established. The Association evolved became a duespaying organization in 1939, and in 1954 it effectively incorporated an annual alumni fund to replace the
dues-paying system.
Scope and Contents
This collection includes Alumni Association annual reports from the Ball State University Alumni
Association in Muncie, Indiana ranging from 1978 to 2006 regarding students, alumni, outreach, awards,
and finanacial information.
