Historical Note
This collection contains research findings by the Ball State University Department of Anthropology in
1969-1970. The collection was donated to Archives and Special Collections by George Genz in May
1976. Genz was a professor in the Anthropology Department and a member of the Middletown Studies
Committee at that time.
Scope and Contents
The collection includes soil surveys of Delaware County, Indiana from 1915, 1968 and 1972. Also
included is a soil map and related resource facts from the United States Department of Agriculture, Soil
Conservation Service.
