HISTORY
History is the study of the social, cultural, political, and economic events of the past. A major in history prepares
students for a variety of careers. Students following a history major develop oral and written communication skills,
analytical skills, problem solving, well-rounded background, flexibility and adaptability, research and organization
that are some of the qualifications and skills employers expect from employees in today's workplace.
